Electrical/Electro-Optical Engineer

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in electronic design and electro-optics, including intensified imager testing and characterization, LED driver design, and optical lens design. Experience with infrared and ultraviolet lasers a plus. Computer: Should be very proficient with programming in C++. Experienced with Windows & Linux operating systems, Microsoft Office® (Word, Excel, etc.) Experience with analysis & optical design software (i.e. MATLAB, OptiCAD, OSLO, CodeV, etc. a plus.) Excellent English language communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Description of Work
Responsible for hardware and software development, and testing of electro-optic and related electronic products, including both production and prototype units. Duties include, but are not limited to: Detailed design, HW/SW development, fabrication, integration, testing and documentation of system and subsystem level electro-optic assemblies. Ensuring all prescribed test procedures and standards are properly followed. Preparing detailed design, calibration and test reports as requested. Troubleshooting and characterizing electro-optic systems and laser subassemblies, and providing cognizant Test Engineers with relevant information.
