Qualifications

Strong technical background and familiarity with circuit design principles and logic design. Working knowledge of Boundary-Scan (JTAG) test tools is a plus. Familiarity with programmable parts including flash memories, serial EEPROMs, CPLDs and FPGAs. Well-developed software coding and troubleshooting skills and a keen eye for detail. Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Highly motivated, success-driven and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Must have strong organizational skills and ability to work with other technical staff and customers. Strong written communication and verbal presentation skills. Advanced use of computer tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc. A responsible team player with positive attitude, a high degree of personal integrity and a strong work ethic are essential. Familiarity with ISO-9000 processes and procedures experience a plus.

BSEE with strong GPA and 10 years of proven digital design success are minimum requirements. Advanced degree in either EE or Computer Science a plus. Test engineering experience is useful. Expertise in Boundary-Scan (JTAG) test and programming tools a plus.

Description of Work

Oversee all product engineering for Corelis Boundary-Scan products. Manage and coordinate engineering development resources to meet engineering commitments on a timely basis. Develop and implement strategic technical product plans for Boundary-Scan product lines. Support the development of new business opportunities that leverage Corelis’ technical capabilities.

Primary responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

  • Manage all Boundary-Scan hardware and software product development from concept to production, including QA and documentation.
  • Oversee system engineering, design and development of digital hardware including FPGAs, CPLDs and ASICs.
  • Direct the development of application software, GUIs and firmware for Boundary-Scan products.
  • Serve as primary liaison to Operations to successfully transition designs to production.
  • Manage processes for production and implementation of bug fixes, ECOs and technical documentation, including user manuals and application notes.
  • Provide engineering leadership for new product definition.
  • Provide training and guidance to sales and support personnel on products that you develop.
